NDT and structural testing
Non-destructive testing investigates indications of defects without intentionally damaging the component. The suitable method for welds, pipelines and steel structures depends on the material, thickness, expected defect location and acceptance criteria. TSS defines the inspection scope from the technical brief.

How the work is arranged
Access, surface condition, material and acceptance criteria are clarified before inspection. Static and dynamic load tests are separate from NDT and require an agreed programme and safe work arrangements. The report identifies inspected areas and method limitations. Send drawings, material grade, wall thickness and weld length for a proposal.
